Hi friends! We have officially made it to Friday and our 3rd week of Quarantine. Whether you choose to count the days or if you’ve already lost track, I hope everyone is hanging in there! On a happier note, we are headed into the summer months. Warm weather and sunshine makes summer one of my favorite seasons! Anyone else? It’s a time to kick back and relax. Enjoy pool days sipping on lemonade! Family vacations are planned and rooftop patios are open again! Sun tanned skin and back together with your friends again. Creating memories of a lifetime under God’s Golden bulb.
Ahh, I could go on forever, but want to get into this post! Some of you may be thinking, “Well Madi, it’s not summer yet so how can I achieve this glow without the Sunshine?” I am glad you asked, because I am so excited to bring you my all time favorite Bronzing products! These products work on multiple skin tones and give you the extra Golden Glow you need. Who doesn’t want that Summer GLOW all year round? I know I do! I have listed my favorite bronzing products and a little bit about each one. With summer just around the corner, here’s to bronzing until we have some actual Sunshine.

Drunk Elephant D- Bronzi Anti Pollution Sunshine Drops
This serum has been amazing for me! It helps to protect your skin from pollution and external toxins. Apply a couple drops to the face and neck by its self or use under your make up. This product gives you the perfect bronzed glow with no need to use a self tanner or be out in the sun. A little also goes a long way so you will definitely get your money’s worth!
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer
This has been my go to Bronzer since high school! I love the formula of this powder because it is very lightweight. The mix of bronzer and shimmer gives you an effortless sun-kissed glow. There are 4 different formulas to match each skin tone. I wear the shade “Luminous Bronze Light” all year round. The perfect bronzer if you want an amazing golden color with a pop of shimmer.
Hoola Matte Bronzer
This bronzer is super affordable and amazing quality! If you love all Matte everything, this is for you! Hoola’s product will give you a natural looking tan all year round. I would highly recommend this if you do not want a highlight or shimmer in your bronzer. It comes with a mini powder brush and blends easily with foundation and blush. I wear the shade “Natural Bronze.”
Nars Bronzer Powder
I absolutely love the Nars brand for blush and bronzers. Another bronzer I have used for years now. This bronzer will give you that longwearing sun kissed glow. The product comes in four shades that can match each skin tone. I would recommend the Nars if you want just a little bit of shimmer to help highlight your face. This bronzer would be a great in between of the Hourglass Bronzer and Hoola Bronzer. I wear shade “Laguna.”
Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Highlighter Wand
I recently found this product and have been using it for about 4 months now. This wand is perfect if you love a dewy bronzed look! The wand comes in 4 shades and will enhance your skins highlight. The product has a silky feel that blends easily and leaves you glowing all day long! I apply the wand on the apples of my cheeks and blend into my foundation. I wear the shade “Peachgasm.”
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer
This bronzer smells heavenly! Taste, however, needs some work…kidding! This matte bronzer will give you a very warm tan. This product is buildable to create an intense contour or to give you that little pop of color throughout the day. The product is creamy and gives you a beautiful bronzed glow. This product comes in three different shades. I wear shade “Chocolate Soleil.”
Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit
This is the first contour and highlight pallet I ever bought way back in college! This is perfect if you are a beginner with make up or just aren’t sure how to “contour.” The pallet has 6 different shades, 3 for highlighting and 3 for contouring - perfect for experimenting! This contour kit was great for me to try out different shades of bronzers and highlighters all at once! I used this pallet for my whole face. Cheeks, jaw line, nose, and forehead. My favorite shades in the kit are “Banana” for highlighting and “Havana” for contouring.
KKW Beauty Powder Contour & Highlight Palettes
The KKW Beauty Powder and Highlight Palette is one of my favorites. It is currently not being shipped due to the virus, but wanted to share, as I have been using it for about a year now! I highly recommend this if you are looking for a highlight and contour duo! The formula for this pallet is very creamy, pigmented, and buildable to create the look you want! In this set there are 4 pressed powders; 2 matte bronzers and 2 shimmer highlight shades. The shades will give you a nice natural glow. I purchased the Medium Contour Palette and I use the top left yellow highlighter daily. I get compliments on this highlight all the time!
