3 Ways to Style A Black Dress
Today’s topic: How to Style that Little Black Dress! A dress we all have somewhere in our closet! Some of us at this moment are probably trying to think of where theirs is!… Lol One of the reasons I love having a staple piece like a black dress is that you can style it so many ways and wear it to multiple events. Weddings, date night, girls night out, family pictures, running errands, & family vacations…A black dress is truly a MUST HAVE.
Since most of us already have that perfect black dress I wanted to show you three different ways to style it. From a casual day out, heading to brunch with friends, to looking confident and chic at work. The styled looks below will keep you on trend without breaking the bank!
FIRST LOOK: CASUAL N’ CUTE
This look is the one I probably wear the most! Adding a mix of accessories to this dress keeps you cute and comfortable while staying casual. If you have been following me for a while you know adding is Hat is one of my favorite go to looks! A Hat dresses up the overall look and also helps a ton if you are feeling lazy and do not want to wash your hair.. (insert raise hand emoji here) lol
My sneakers, shades, and backpack are functional accessories. I love them because I can style the items multiple ways, with different clothing looks, and re wear them time time again!

SECOND LOOK: BRUNCH BABE
This next look was super fun to create! I love to mix and match colors and accessories especially in the summertime! Most of us also have a staple denim jacket in our closet. A jacket is a great way to dress up a look and also act as a transition piece from day to night time. This look would be perfect for so many summer events! A get together with family and friends, watching fireworks for the 4th, or a Summer date night out. I styled the dress with a woven purse to keep my look on trend, my white booties for contrast, (you coud add a darker booties for the fall) and the cheetah hair accessories to spice it up . Wanted to share another look with pieces that may already be in your closet!

THIRD LOOK: THE WORKING WOMAN

The last and final look I wanted to center it around work wear. With quarantine it has been a while since I have dressed up for work.. Lol but it is fun to style pieces I can wear once I am back in the office. Wearing a black dress will keep you comfortable, stylish, and ready to take on the day. I think what I love the most is this can work for so many professions! I am in Sales and present a lot of training’s to new hires. With this there is always a lot of eyes watching. I want to feel comfortable and confident in these situations and a black dress like this is perfect for that! I styled this dress by adding a belt, chic bag, and heels to make it dressie. I have also linked up some of my favorite flats for my gals who steer clear of the heels!
