Drunk Elephant Skincare Review: Is it worth the Hype?
For some of you, you may be thinking what on Earth is a “DRUNK ELEPHANT?'“ Lol well keep reading to find out!
Drunk Elephant is a female founded beauty brand that has taken over the beauty industry! This trusted skincare company uses colorful and fun packaging and is known for it’s clean ingredients.
This sounds too good to be true, right? I thought so and wanted to find out for myself! When the Sephora sale rolled around this year, I decided to TREAT myself. I had never tried out any of the Drunk Elephant Skincare products before, but heard amazing reviews. To test out multiple products from the brand line I tried one of their sample kits called “The Littles.” If you are not sure where to start in your skincare routine I would suggest trying out the “The Littles” kit sold at Sephora (image below). This is a kit of Drunk Elephant’s 8 best selling products! The kit is for all skin types and includes: an AM and PM serum, moisturizer, cleanser, luxury face oil, hydration serum, a cooling eye cream, and SPF lotion.
I will be reviewing the products from the kit and breaking them down into 3 categories: the MUST HAVES, WISH LIST- WANTS, & DIDN’T WORK OUT.

MUST HAVES
GLOW
Luxury Facial Oil- Adds Moisture and gives your skin a healthy looking glow. Leaves skin feeling refreshed, dewy, and brightened. I apply a couple drops to my face after I cleanse and moisturize.
MOISTURIZER
2. Polypeptide Moisturizer- OHH MY GOODNESS! This is Liquid GOLD. This protein moisturizer is filled with nutrients leaving your skin super soft and replenished. I also noticed this helped with dryness around my problem areas like my nose. My skin felt healthy and hydrated after applying the moisturizer. Cannot say enough great things!
BRIGHTEN & FIRM
3. Vitamin C Serum- A little goes a long way! This serum is packed with nutrients and helps with anti aging. I noticed this brightened my overall skin appearance, reduced my pore size, and helped with firming. Would recommend storing this in the fridge and to apply in the morning. The serum woke me up and left my skin feeling refreshed and brightened. I typically applied this about 25 minutes before any make up!

WISH LIST- WANTS
HYDRATE
4. Hydration Serum- It does just what you think! This product was a lifesaver after a long day in the sun and helped replenish my dry skin problem areas. It also helped improve my skin texture. This product is a WANT because it is nice to have, but it is not a necessity in my skincare routine! I have normal to oily skin so this would be better for me in the wintertime. If you have dry skin, this product was made for YOU!
FIRM & BRIGHTEN EYES
5. Multivitamin Eye Cream- This cream impressed me! I wasn’t sure how I was going to like this, but turned out I LOVED it! Made with cucumber abstract, the cream has a cooling sensation, similar to if you have used a TULA eye balm. The cream feels refreshing when applied. I recommend also refrigerating this one! This product helped to brighten my under eyes and crows feet area. The only reason this is a WANT is because I do not struggle with dark under eyes. For me using the Vitamin C Serum helped brighten enough. If you suffer from dark under eyes, this product would be very helpful!
WRINKLES, FINE LINES,& SUN DAMAGE
6. Firming Eye Cream- #1 product in the line to help with anti aging, sun damage, and those stubborn wrinkles! This product was not in the kit, but after using the eye cream I know this is amazing! Perfect for those of you who struggle with fine lines, crow’s feet, and want to help reduce anti aging! You can never start this early enough :)
CLEANSE
7. Jelly Cleanser- I love this cleanser! It is non-stripping and helps to not only cleanse your face but also remove make up! A TWO in ONE: Sign me up! This cleanser has a smooth texture (no rough beads like some cleansers) and a small drop goes a long way. This cleanser is great for all skin types and was 100% odor free which is a huge plus for me. If you are in the market for a new cleanser, I would highly recommend trying this one! The only reason this is a WANT is I currently have a cleanser, but will order this when I run out. If you are running low on a face wash or want to change it up, this Jelly Cleanser is for you!
SUN PROTECTION
8. Sheer Physical Daily Defense SPF 30- Another amazing product that I use daily living in Arizona. Sun protection is something I am much more aware of now than when I was younger. This lightweight sheer cream helps protect your skin from sun damage. I apply sunscreen every morning to help my skin stay refreshed and protect it from the sun. This is a want me for right now since I have other forms of sun protection!

DIDN’T WORK OUT
9. Glycolic Night Serum- This serum is to be used before bed and helps to improve skin tone, fine lines, texture, and reduce pore size. I used this formula the first time and my skin kept stinging. I tried to apply it again and my skin had the same reaction. I am not sure what in this did not agree with my skin type (all of the other serums worked perfect) but it did not work for me. Sadly, this was a no as my skin had a reaction to it. In replace of this I used the Vitamin C serum both day and night and saw amazing results!

PERSONAL RESULTS
My personal results from the Drunk Elephant “Littles“ collection was very positive! Overall, my skin felt more hydrated, smooth, firm, and brighter. I also noticed reduced pore size especially on my nose (problem area for me) and around my chin. I have always wanted glowy and effortless skin, but wasn’t sure how to achieve it! I can leave the house now feeling confident in my own SKIN.
I love the Drunk Elephant product line and will be repurchasing items! The images below show my own skin transformation! Raw & Real.
I realize the line of products is expensive and because of this have taken a lot of time to recommend and give my honest review of each! I hope this helps you in choosing the right skincare regimen and products for you!
